PAL’s commitment to the South Bronx community is evident year-round through Afterschool, Summer Day Camp and Teen Center programs at its New South Bronx Center, which keep youth safe and engaged in skill-building activities under the mentorship of positive role models, including volunteer police officers. The New South Bronx Center opened in 1996 and works closely with the 41st precinct of the NYPD. New South Bronx Center serves over 870 youth each year.
